      Indeed!
      I'd hate to think that Musk would use Windows or Mac and be beholding to them for accesses to private kernel functions or to pay million$ in license fees to power their launch, control and monitoring computers.

        +1 ..that would indeed be a waste of funds.

        and his approach seems to work well so far ,,,,,,I just love seeing those rockets landing , standing striate up , in a precise location ,,,,,his software dev's are amazing.
