btw... just six years prior to seeing this film I had "thrown on the gear" and jumped in to help a friend pull a body from a lake...that was what we did back then. Just threw on the gear... actually, in a lake, scuba is not really enjoyable...
and then I watched Goldfinger .. the first one that I saw...
And then I watched Thunderball...
and a couple of years later I threw on really GOOD Navy gear on and dived Kwajelein.
Only scuba people really "grok" the romance... of scuba in the Bond films...
And DECADES later... I'm watching CSI Miami(tm) and Delko is wearing Bodyglove(tm). ...lol not the best of gear... but it was what a lot of "those who dive" started with... now it's Halcyon or stay at the bar... lol...

But Dame Shirley Bassey will will always be in my mind when I'm going bubbly.
