And across the US? The media would have you believe that the Internet and America are just crawling with the creeps. Quidsup supplies the facts. For months prior to Charlottsville the Daily Stormmer STORMFRONT.ORG, the Nazi/White Supremacist website, averaged about 1,000 hits a day. Then for two or three days during the Charlotsville incident the number hits rose to a max of around 40K hits per day, then quickly died down to previous levels until mob rule forced it to be taken off line, when it promptly went to the Dark Web. He then points out the hypocrisy of the hosting companies using their own words. And then he asks some pointed questions.

Most people, including reporters, do not know how to use the DarkWeb, or have to have their hand held while they use it, or are just be shown pages they couldn't dredge up if their lives depended on it. Probably most people who had TDS on their menu bar now can't access it either.

Regardless, free speech loses, and the only question is "How far down the slippery slope will we slide before we stop this nonsense? Whose ox has yet to be gored?"

In fact, over the last 30 years so many laws have been created converting misdemeanors into felonies, but using vague language which gives prosecutors so much leeway that they can indict a ham sandwich.

I understand what GreyGeek is saying and I fully understand the video. You either have a country that has "Freedom for ALL" or "Freedom for NONE". There is no blurring of the lines when it comes down to it. People have the right in the US (as I understand it) to get a permit and protest wiping you ass with coconuts. Should another opposing group appear, they too have the right to get a permit to protest. Where this fails, when you have a yahoo on one or more sides to make or take hostile actions. In the past, I have joined protests here in Canadian. I worked actively with groups protecting the trees and forests. We never came to blows with lumber jacks or the companies they represented. We never said they didn't have the right to make lumber from trees, we desire to change their opinions and protect the forests.

I have heard a lot in the media about how Neo Nazis don't have the right to think, let alone speak. That sounds a lot like you want to start a dictatorship in your country. That is how most dictatorships get started by manipulating people to hate ANY one group and removing that group's freedoms. They don't stop there. Eventually your group or ideals are in that spotlight and there is no one left to protest for your rights or freedoms.

Don't say old Doc Simon here is a Nazi lover, far from it. But it is sad some woman, felt so strongly about a lump of metal in a park, had to lose her life over it. I am Canadian but my heritage it comes from Japan. Oda Nobunaga was not a loved warlord of Japan but known for most brutal suppression. Today his statue still stands, the grave is still there, and castle all in good condition. It is honoring and remembrance of history, the fall of a tyrant, and the end of his rule. Personally not living in your country, I don't care what you do with those statues belonging to your ancestors. But I find it disturbing that you are so willing to sacrifice lives and freedom while shouting, "Peace, Love and Joy!". From the reports I read, this hate group was protesting the removal of a statue, its fate was decided 6 months prior and that group had no sway over stopping the removal. The only reason this received world press or any attention was the acts of violence that ended with the brutal death of a woman.

I don't know and no one can say, but what if the people just ignored the hate group, as we normally ignore hate webpages?

Finally, most webpage companies state in the contract one or both of these escape clauses;

They post this "legal butt shield" in most contracts but as long as the money is pouring in they never enforce it until prodded.

Advocating MORE intolerance is a dangerous road to travel. If that is where the nation ends up then Levinovitz is in danger of becoming a candidate for Reeducation Camps or extermination himself. Look at how much head snapping switching of "correct political views" the Left has undergone in the last couple of decades:

Martin Luther King, in a fantastic speech, talked about the time when men would be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Today, the Left tells Whites that they are racist BECAUSE of the color of their skin, and non-Whites cannot be racists because they are not White.

A few years ago the Left was Pro-Israel and intolerant of anti-Semites. Now, their coin has flipped and they are yelling anti-Israeli rhetoric at 120 db, calling for the boycott of Israeli goods and services and the annihilation of Israel itself. That's really strange, because Israel is the most free state in the Middle East, even having Arabs in the Knesset. And even though they won their seat in the Knesset in a free election they are still refereed to by the Muslims in the same way and spirit as the Left refers to Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, Alan Keyes, Ben Carson, Aurtur Davis, Mia Love, Tim Scott and other Black conservatives with the racist denigration of "Uncle Tom"' or calling them an Oreo cookie.

If Leftist ideology can switch that fast then Levinovitz, a Jew, may become a future target of the Left because he is a Jew.

I think you are (maybe) missing his point, and a point that I agree with: Being tolerant of intolerance is NOT a good thing, and should/needs to be avoided (intolerance must be dealt with).

I don't think anyone today (except maybe current day neo-nazi's) would agree that Hitlers regime, and what they did, was a GOOD thing. The Nazi's and their actions were EVIL in every conceivable way imaginable. They rose to power, not soley through intimidation, but through tolerance of the German people of the intolerance that the Party was promoting. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."
