The NP button in the Editor is 'new', added March 27, 2022. It's "No Parse". Use it around text you do not want vBulletin to parse.
Example:
This sentence contains two smilies:
This sentence contains the same two smiles, but are enclosed in NP tags: ;D
Note that NP tags aren't visible.
Say you have a post that contains terminal output, and that output has semicolons, colons, and other punctuation adjacent to letters that if parsed, would appear as graphical smilies. Highlight the selection and click on the NP button.
You can of course, just type the tags: [NP] [/NP]
This BBCode is actually 'native' in vBulletin, so you could also use: [noparse] [/noparse]
