My auxiliary, backup, son #2, who just finished his freshman year at the University of Delaware, landed himself a paying job/internship. He described a mini computer he was bringing home with which he can connect to one of the universities networks and it also contains the data and programs he needs to evaluate that data (solar winds). I assumed he was talking about a Raspberry pi as I have a couple but instead he came home with one of these: Pretty cool but at $295 a bit more expensive then a Raspberry pi. I haven't had much time to look at it as he was working but I thought it was pretty interesting. BTW, it's just about pocket-size.
