    Kubuntu forums and a VPN

How can I use Kubuntu Forums without turning off my VPN?

IF your VPN is through a blocked provider, or establishes an IP that is blocked, you can't.

Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Kinda sucks as even popular, well regarded vpn providers' ip addresses somehow get on the blacklist .

When I was in Australia, I had to keep turning my VPN off (needed so I could work) when I wanted to visit KFN. Minor annoyance for sure . I did try to set up my own, but I never got it to work properly and really don't want to have to bother having to admin stuff.

It seems to be working now. Maybe not all of their IPs are blocked.

Yes, it is always going to be a 'hit or miss' when using VPN. We can't change that.

Who provides your VPN? I have https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/ and it's openvpn

That's mine, too. For a number of years now.
