    Actually, the number of laws and regulations carrying monetary fines and imprisonment are uncountable. People have tried and failed. It makes the legal pablum "Ignorance of the law is no excuse" a mockery. Nearly every American every day violates some law, rule or regulation that would, if prosecuted, result in fines a/o jail time. The following link, written by a lawyer, explains how:
