I'm having a problem with the "Line Nova" filter in the GIMP. I've looked online and found the same issue bug-reported, but I haven't seen a solution that works for me. I'm using:
Filters | Render | Line Nova
and regardless of which colors I set my foreground and background colors to, when I apply the filter it's rendering the result in black; there is no color option within the filter itself.
I'm trying to replicate a banner I created about five years ago (I need a new version at a specific, larger size), but it's just not working out. Any ideas on how to render the effect in a color other than black?
FWIW, I've tried replacing the black with some other color, but this isn't working well because not all of the black gets selected (via the "Select by Color" tool); different shades of it are left behind, and the resulting image is ugly!
If anyone wants to see images to help illustrate what I'm talking about, let me know.
