*I* couldn't make it budge. Not one iota. So I got my trusty parrot-nosed pliers...then thought, no!, I really don't want to damage my BRAND NEW faucet. I tried, pretty gingerly, with a washcloth between the pliers and the faucet, but got nowhere. I just need to know if I'm attempting to do something that SHOULDN'T be done. If it's removable, then I'll ask someone stronger than me to try unscrewing it. If not, I'll leave well enough alone.
That looks suspiciously like a tap to me.

no ,,,,other than it will look like poo ,,,and that faucet is so pretty + plumers tape (Teflon tape) has no sticky on it to gum up the finish ,,,,but it will clean off.

I would go with a threaded adapter my self

do the threads even touch ?

You know, I STARTED writing out that I didn't want to damage the faucet, even just with yucky adhesive from tape, but I erased it. Yes, the faucet is pretty and I really want to keep it like that.

I think that's what I'll do. Either that or ask Pfister to recommend an aerator that will fit!

No. It's like sticking your finger in an empty jar...it just wiggles around in there.

I thought that stuff was all standardized. Imagine if, for instance, there were a dozen different toilet paper roll widths.

See, that's why I *ASSUMED* it would fit! How can this NOT be standardized?

It's simple. Faucets are those thingamabobs that, when whose handles are twisted, lifted, rotated, or otherwise maneuvered, cause liquid water to issue forth.

                  This is a tap:

And it goes on one of these:

Pressing the spout causes the contraption to issue a frothy, sublime nectar of the gods.

Question for Feathers: do they have gin taps where you're from? Can you get me one?

Even if it's the cheap-white-box-China syndrome, I wouldn't think the aerator you have would be THAT far off. Which leads me to ask, could the aerator you have be intended for a shower, where the diameter of the outlet pipe could be that large (like ~3/4" OD)?

The larger role is Costco TP.

                      This sucks.

I am considering a bidet but, not sure how that works. What do you do, turn it on and wiggle? I don't know.

                      Sorry about the TP diversion.

The faucet aerator. My suggestion would be to take the aerator from the new faucet you like to the plumbing store and tell a clerk you want an aerator that fits you're fancy and the thread of the aerator you just handed to him/her.

                      Ken.

No, it's definitely for kitchen faucets.

PS The negative review that's now on the item's page wasn't there when I ordered it. I wish it had been!

I've tasted "frothy, sublime nectar of the gods" as you call it (American beer) and it's crap. Weak as water!
