    brrrr

So, what's do I type from the command line to send the polar air back to the pole?

    Hate single digit temps.

At least it "warmed up" here in Indianapolis to 17.

Anyone else have a heater right next to their computer?

A HEATER?!! No...definitely...no. I finally gave in a few days ago and have been running the air conditioner ever since. It's almost 90 right now here in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley, and the whole LA area has broken various records so far this month.

It's pretty mild here in Salem/Keizer, OR.

I have a pellet stove on the other end of the house. It has a little trouble keeping up when the temperature gets below 30 degrees F. We end up using both the pellet stove and the central heat.

Anyone else have a heater right next to their computer?
There is a central heater vent in my home office, but my home office is on the cooler end of the house.

I grew up in Southern CA in the San Fernando Valley. I've been in OR since '94. I don't mind the cold and rain at all.

I have a wood stove in the central hallway ,,,,,,wood is my only source of heat @hear
if I get it really cooking (and yes I have cooked on it during a power outage) you half to open windows to cool things back down some even in the single digits

25 C (that's 77 F for the backward), hot sun, cool sea breeze. Been like this and mid to high 20s since some good rain in early December, except for 1 or 2 days... best summer for a long time.

I'm using a weather widget called cwp. It looks like Vinny is using yaWP.
