Great Christmas!
My 8 yr old grandson got an iPhone6 and a 17" i5 Toshiba Satellite with 1TB of HD running Win 8.1, loaded with crapware, the worse being Norton. I cleaned it off, switched to Defender and updated its dat file, and then installed Minecraft. It got 192 fps with a chunk distance of 16. He is one happy camper! (The old Sony VAIO I gave him three years ago ran at 20 fps with cd of 4 ... too much stuttering.) My guess is that I'll be playing a lot more Minecraft with him in the future.
