    Of course they do. I saw such behavior several times while I was there.

    Look, I know it's easy to sit on the outside and hurl criticisms -- I've done the same thing here, often targeting Canonical. We must all realize that we are at a disadvantage, though, because we lack awareness of what's happening inside. I've had the opportunity to be on the inside of two large, unwieldy, sometimes tone-deaf tech firms: Microsoft and Amazon. My vantage points will often be different, because I know what's happening on the inside in both these organizations. When they do good things, I will praise them. When they fsck up, I will berate them.
