Kubuntu Trusty - The Cream of the Crop!

Just wanted to post up and say thanks so much to the developers and general community for such a fantastic, amazing release. I genuinely feel that I can stick here with this desktop now for the full support cycle and remain happy. Awesome!

I've been using Kubuntu for a couple of years now and it has always proved a solid and enjoyable OS. It always seems to me to be the quietest 'Buntu release insofar as it never seems to quite have the fanfare of it's big daddy, or the geeky appeal of the lighter versions. But here is Kubuntu 14.04, and to me it is the very best of the lot. It's such a fully rounded, feature rich, gorgeous, and downright fun OS. It needs bigger and sexier headlines dammit!

It's by far and away the best KDE distro too imho. Others might add a nice theme here and there, but none of them are as nice to use in general terms. It's so easy to get going out of the box with Kubuntu imo.

So again congrats on such a great release! I'll be very curious to see how KDE Plasma 5 tops this.
    PUNCH IT CHEWIE!

Yes, I am totally amazed and overwhelmed by this phenomenal release! I am so glad to be using it and I have tried numerous distros and this one is the best. Kudos big time to the development team.
