I've been using firefox here since v8.04. I've found it to be pretty bug free and stable. (Both on Windoze and kubuntu ....the only issues it has are when you try to browse a non-W3C standard server [did anyone guess IIS? ]) I have recently loaded chromium on 14.04 for testing and have browsed with it a bit. However I still prefer firefox for day to day browsing.
cheers,

Adblock Plus is one problem it seems. Its butchering a lot of pages since the move to 14.10. Could some of you guys using Firefox with Adblock go to www.bbc.com to see if its displayed correctly?

With my curiosity peaked by Oshunluvur I downloaded and installed SR Iron. It is now my new favorite browser. ALL the goodness of Chromium without the constant parental hand saying "no no".
EDIT: After using SR Iron for a day I discovered that it couldn't load extensions unless I downloaded them and then dragged and dropped them onto the extension page. Then they loaded .... but wouldn't work. Then I found that SR Iron wouldn't load Google Maps 3D. So, sadly, I uninstalled SR Iron and returned to FireFox.Last edited by GreyGeek; Mar 11, 2014, 08:38 PM."A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”

Funk I use Chromium, I don't care much for the Fox. I also use Ghostry and Adblock but I also have Animated PNG, Awesome New Tab Page, and Stylish. Most of my issues were unsupported Flash related until I got pepper flash installed. I tried to stick it out with Konqueror but it just didn't fit well with me.

All of them, at one point or another. Mostly Chrome, but firefox, and Rekonq actually for some things. I always thought of myself as browser-agnostic, but FF at one point became to pokey, and Chromium locked up too often.
What about in the mobile space?
I seem to use a few different ones, including FF, Dolphin, and whatever the stock browser my phone uses. I haven't selected a default so I get the choice menu often.
Oddly with chrome I don't sync bookmarks etc between mobile and desktop.

The only thing of note with Iron is it's not in a PPA so you have to update manually. Not a big deal, just download and install.

Mostly Firefox, occasionally Chrome, sometimes Konqueror. I like the Swiss army knife ability of Konqueror. Split view with website on one side and file manager on the other side or FTP. Drag and drop works good that way. Never did warm up to Rekonq.Opinions are like rear-ends, everybody has one. Here's mine. (|)

I have a few friends who use the SR Iron on Windows XP. We got to talking about browsers and this "really old guy" in the room, from the 70s I think. He cough up some spider webs and then in a creepy mummified voice said, "Back in my day we used Lynx with Gopher search engine." There was a silence while he stroked his gray neck beard. We just glared at him until he sank back into his coffin.
