      How much time do you think that course will consume? Any idea? Im thinking of taking it just to improve my Linux skills and maybe see if its something Id like to study more. Cant do it if its going to be a massive time consumer though...

            No no no. Online degrees. Theyre still called correspondence degrees reant they?? Maybe "distance learning" is better? Anyway, are online degrees worth much in computer science?

              Oh, OK. Online degrees from accredited institutions (not "self-accredited", but accredited by the same agencies that accredit state and private brick and mortar schools) for the humanities are as good as the "in person" degrees, and more convenient and economical to boot. They are usually offered by the B&M schools.
