Interesting enough I saw cinnamon with a good bit compared to others. I've heard of that DE from time to time. Must go look at.

I really DO think that is is the "perception" of "learning curve"

KUBUNTU SHOULD HAVE ON THE DESKTOP an IMPRESS PRESENTATION EXPLAINING
