People like that (Steve's link) are exactly why I got the hell out of the Midwest.

Coastal NC isn't tabacy territory, but there's lots a-fishin'!

I'm sure Steve doesn't "believe" in the FSM either! lol...

There seem to be oases of sanity in the south. If I had to choose somewhere in Texas to live, I think I'd be pretty happy in Austen...
If you're ever bored, the Atheist Community of Austen have a public access TV show called the Atheist Experience (recordings on YouTube) that is quite entertaining - sometimes people ring in and aren't prepared to have a two way conversation and get destroyed, sometimes you get a really good open debate and ideas get bounced around. So it's either funny or informative.

San Antonio is very nice as well but I could never live in Texas. Too many innocent people get executed there. Texas and Oklahoma are basically organized serial killers masquerading as state governments. The electorate is aware they murder innocent people and based on the way they vote, they don't mind. I'm nervous about driving across Texas, much less living there. The thought makes me shudder.

Don't you know it's rude to question someone's religious beliefs, even when they introduce them into the conversation?

I hadn't read the whole thing until now. I chuckled all the way through. I still can't decide if it's a joke or not!

Guys, really? Not only am I a devoted follower of FSM (his noodly appendage be upon me), I also am a faithful member of the Landover Baptist Church of Freehold, Iowa, the warmest and friendliest church on Earth. We proudly support Mrs. Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian, in her two very important ministries. Our lively and inclusive discussion forum welcomes everyone, except all those we hate.
