Cloud alternative to Google

I moved to Linux to run away from Microsoft and now I need to find a way to leave Google. I decided to stick with Blackberry to avoid Android (now I hear there is another alternative for phones "Jolla" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25120727) but I need Gmail and Gcal alternatives.

I use Gmail to access my work account trough Imap and I send my mail using Gmail. I need similar features and I need to be able to have push on my Blackberry. Outlook and Yahoo are not acceptable alternatives.

Any thoughts?

I've been using OwnCloud (think FOSS version of Dropbox), would recommend it. You can do it yourself on a home server or rent some server space and set it up there. There are even a couple of companies that set it up for you.

For email, Postfix Dovecot and Squirrelmail on that same server? Bit of a pain to set up (see my 10,000 threads where Steve is patiently helping me), but very rewarding and interesting to learn about.

If you want a personal solution, very secure, you can also consider Zentyal which is an SMB server providing everything you need to be independant from service providers.

OwnCloud as mentionned is also an option.
