hmmmmm okaay......
But, that got me to thinking! A BAD thing!
What if...... there was provided as a default a complete physical APPEARANCE of say ...XP.... for "new to Linux folks".
There might be a question in the install process........"If you are new to Linux we will provide the appearance of another recent operating system so that you can transition to the much more useful and interesting Linux GUIs! "
Of course there is the possibility that this would be getting onto the turf of PCLinuxOS...so...don't know...but a thought.

In overall, Kubuntu 13.10 came across as a very efficient distro to me with possibly some incremental improvements. Even new users who want to try out Linux and are migrating from Windows XP or Windows 7, should try Kubuntu 13.10 out -
it is very similar to Windows
and you may like it a lot more than other Linux DEs.
