This is a very cool utility. Way better than the default KSnapshot. I've wondered how he creates the beautifully annotated screenshots (including graphical data -- arrows, etc.) he includes in his posts. Now I know.

Nice app! I just upgraded to KDE 4.11.2 and it crashes. It worked in 4.11.1. Screen goes black and get dumped to the lightdm login screen.

1) What is KScreenGenie

KScreenGenie is a screenshooter utility for KDE. It is written
using the very latest KDE and Qt technologies (KDE Frameworks 5,
