    DiveHeart

    Hi
I just spent the last week and a few in Key Largo "observing/volunteering" with DiveHeart.

    a) this in NOT just about "doing cool diving".

    b) speaking from personal experience the experience of "zero gravity" environment of diving does amazing things to improve the "back" and "nerve problems" of "the back" and "spinal cord".

    c) DiveHeart is a NON-profit org, that is run almost totally by volunteers and the head of it does not get "paid".

    d) it's mission is to introduce disabled children, adults and Vets to SCUBA...

    e) they are sufficiently on the up and up that the founder will be on an upcoming Oprah.

    f) If one is looking around for a group to support with donations, or time and effort, I would gently suggest viewing the link.

I spent the week both "on land" and "diving" with one of the profiled people as an observer and as a "gofer".

The effect upon the quality of life of the person was amazing.

And, in so short a time.
