Besides speaking at Riverbed's annual Sharkfest event this week (recordings later), I also had a brief spot in the plenary at Velocity, an event that focuses on network and application performance. About half of the plenary was a series of short vendor-sponsored talks, including ours. But instead of droning through the usual boring marketing pitch, I decided to present a high-level overview of some of the things I've been thinking about lately.
