Didn't see a new user thread this one looked as good as anything.... decided to try desktop linux again after a 10+yr hiatus. Ran a dialup Isp in Wisconsin for almost 10yrs using Redhat FOR DNS,mail,web, and passwd auth. Kde, Gnome and Xfree were klunky a pain to use and far behind windoze. Sun and Indigo wkstations had it all over Redhat... Fast fwd to Kubuntu 12.10 KDE is awesome stable and as user friendly as winXP! Looks like Linux is still like most women.. you gotta know the right questions to ask to get good answers back! Well, here we are looking for answers and good folks who provide them! Look forward to getting to know you all thanks!
