LOL,,,,,,,,yes he dose , and as soon as I did we got a stick and started to play tug of war , ,,,, he will eventually win as he never gives up and never seems to tire out

if you get the stick and throw it he will get it , and bring it back ,, but then the tug of war is on again,,, you can pick him by the stick in his mouth and he will hang their untill you get tired of holing him up LOL

Just be careful with the zip line you're using, I had to rescue a mastiff pup just last week who was throttling on her lead, owner had left her unattended.

Its lovely to see such a happy pup.

Owners like that need to be shot. I had Great Danes for many years, and never even let them outside unattended--in our FENCED YARDS!--let alone tied up.

O he is never unattended ,,,in fact he lives in the house and is only on the lead when he has to do his business or play .
we have a leash law hear and he can not be out without being eather on a leash or the lead you see in the video AND if he is on the lead (a 1/4" steel cable attached to a 3' auger trailer anchor screwed into the ground ) the law states their must be a dog house and food and water no matter weather he is on it 5 minutes to do his business or 5 days.

my wife just got fined for letting him out to pee a month ago ,,,,she is disabeld and has sever photosensitivity so she can not walk him and we did not have the dog house yet ,,,,,thay did not care that he was only out to pee ,,,,,"the law is the law mam" ,,,, $25.00 fine $185.00 court cost ,,,,,,,,,we could not pay right away ,,,,now back to court and $275.00 or jail time for contempt of court ,,,,,,,,, WTF

I was all for this new law when thay passed it stating that it was to give animal control a tool to use in situations where an animal was staked out and then left basically abandoned , but now thay refuse to use to use some common sense and just enforce it to enforce it ,,,,,,I am shure to generate more $ for the city.

just another exampel of why we should be very carfull what laws we let get passed and how they are worded !!!

Hope I didn't imply you might be careless with Blue Boy Vinny, it obvious you care for him a great deal and he's a very happy chap

Would it still apply if you were fully fenced?

This is the problem, little hitlers refusing to use any common sense. I'm lucky with my council (Brisbane, Oz), they're actually really good and very helpful.

The guy I was talking about is a real idiot - appear to actually care for his dogs, but no common sense. Got two *big* active dogs in a tiny tiny yard and they get bored ****less, so they escape all the time. So he leaves them tied up while he is at work. This was the third time I'd untangled the pup, but this time she had jumped over the deck and was hanging by her lead, another couple of minutes and she would have been dead. I had no qualms in calling the RSPCA on him.

it may be debatable if the fence was 10' back from the right of way on the 2 sides of the yard that are next to the street .

I am unfortunately , vary aware of this possibility , my son had a dog and the lead it was on was attached to a tree , he left the dog attached to it wile he went in to eat , the dog managed to clime the tree got over a limb and hung it's self ...........we never leave our dogs alone or unwatched on a lead anymore....... although my last dog "sibby" a red nosed pit bull would stay out on hers for and hour or 2 sometimes(before the aforementioned incident) and never had a mishap ,,,, she died last year of an inoperable tummer in her neck.
