I have 12.10 on this netbook because of its touchscreen (which I thought might be better supported), but 12.04 on everything else. I prefer 12.04 for what I see as greater stability. 12.10 is working better now, but I didn't find it that great initially.

Vinny:
however the wife has decreed that it is a must have for her viewing pleasure.
I got my wife a Galaxy Tab 10.1 recently which supports Netflix directly (I hate tablets, but she likes hers), so that solves that. I got a Roku player each for the flatscreen TV in the living room and the bedroom. It is only I that am interested in Netflix on my Linux computer, but then, only somewhat. I have other ways around it that were less work.

With all of the reports of 4.10 running much faster than 4.9.4. I'm looking forward to installing it on my netbook. It's currently running 12.10 and KDE 4.9.4 and is a bit sluggish.
The desktop has been humming along ever since I fixed the dependency issue. Loving it!
One thing I just noticed is that active windows will have full color in the bottom row. Windows that have been minimized are grayed out. Cool!

I haven't used 4.10 enough to form a judgment; but I will agree it is a bit faster than previous releases, it definitely has an improved memory footprint, and I like the new KDE login/splash theme (as well as how the backgrounds are the same now, where as 4.9 on 12.04 the default login and splash backgrounds were different).Nowadays I'm mostly Mac, but...
