I was just reading this article and there is a Firefox addon called FireFox OS Simulator for app developers. It does launch a little Firefox OS Simulator on your desktop. I'm not an app developer but its kind of cool to run. Get a look at what its like. Just open addons and search for it.

To launch open the appmenu. Goto web developers. Select it and turn it on.

really tho on a light weight computing device what else do you need to do? im assuming it also web browses. has a nice look to it.
