This thread has "run it's course" and is deteriorating into restatements of what has already been said.
Topics such as this are emotionally charged, and can (and do) lead, eventually, to less than civil exchanges. There are simply two camps on this topic: Those who support and believe in gun rights of the individual, and those who don't. Neither camp is going to sway the other, so continued discourse is pointless.
