Something off-the-wall to bring a little colour to your day...
Well, I see that the Hannah Montana distro has gone fully to Unity.....take a look at the icons in left "Unity panel"....soo.... while we all thought it would be a "flash in the pan", it just goes to show what bucket loads of money can do! lol
And.....they have done a really COOL thing with the website in that the icons on the left Unity panel are....clickable! lol tres kewl!!
And, if I wanted to REALLY get a young girl, that is into that kind of stuff, into Linux I think, maybe I'd try to not be so "up tight" about the "purity" of Linux and give her a nice lappy with it on it and she could then go from there.
with the elites, is all about "appearance" and putting blinders on so that one does not see what is right in front of them. lol
But, my daughter, highest female executive in a male chauvininst operation which produces a certain kind of material that the "liberated smarter than thous" desperately have to have.... still has her Strawberry Shortcake lunch box! lol
if so I need to pay more attention and think of maybe getting a "silly thing" about Straberry Shortcake for her for Christmas.
jpenguine...
For the last two years, I've been able to "hide" on a friend's drive-way cooking burgers 'n dogs for the "adult" trick or treaters that arrive at his place.
