Modern storage devices can hold 10 Exabytes in 200 sq ft, for a total of 5,000 Exabytes storage. 1,250 Naris devices storing 10Gb/s at full power could sustain 100 years of data from all of NSA's data source for the ENTIRE WORLD! He suggests that if two people who are communicating through the web use traceroute to compare the IP nodes and overlay them on a map they can spot the choke points that mark the data tapping points. Amazing stuff. Quoting:

Binney mentions an NSA facility currently under construction in Bluffdale, Utah: “That facility alone can probably hold somewhere close to a hundred years’ worth of the communications of the world.” Binney continues, “Once you accumulate that kind of data — they’re accumulating against everybody — [it's] resident in programs that can pull it together in timelines and things like that and let them see into your life.”
