Meghan( who had already won the first race and would probably win this one) saw her collapse from leg cramps and instead of just running by carried her the rest of the way and notice that she pushed her ahead to go in before her.(lotsa hers there but just watch the vid).

BTW runners are specifically prohibited from helping another runner and are automatically disqualified, but in this case the state board set the rule aside.

I don't understand this. It is not worth it. Competing is one thing, falling on one's nose from exhaustion is yet another but possibly risking one's life for the sake of some stupid sport is just plain silly. -1
