    LOL very funny, well, not funny that he was hacked but anyway..

    i didn't like Hotmail 10 years ago and I had not even heard of Linux.

      A seven-character password, all lower case letters? That's a keyspace of 26^7 = 8,031,810,176. Crackable in a matter of minutes; seconds if you have a rainbow table. Given the publicity of his experiment, he becomes a target, and he should have anticipated that.
