I don't see any particular reason to delete the thread, thus my question. Woodsmoke, I know you mentioned at the beginning you wanted this to be temporary...but it's turned out to be one of our milder threads on such a topic. Since we don't want to develop a reputation of being censors, I'd like to let this stick around. Each contributor to the thread really should decide what do with his/her individual post.Comment

The reason to delete the thread is to save some server space...I just wanted the, what ....thirty odd people, maybe "lurkers" from other distros, that are 'viewers" to see that this place is very even handed.
it never hurts to say something "already known" every once in a while.
