The "best" Twitter client for Linux.

Since I have not used Twitter since the RevLinuxOS days, I have no clue.

Perhaps someone more knowledgable than I can comment.

And if it is "the best" possibly Kubu could consider it as a default?

I tried a bunch of clients before settling on Pidgin. I like its support of multiple Twitter accounts logged in and active simultaneously. My actual FAVORITE Twitter client was one I wrote [as a bash script] a few years ago, using curl to post from the CLI. Quick and easy, as I like it! But then Twitter changed things at their end, I never bothered keeping up with it or making revisions, and ended up going GUI. I guess depending on what you're looking for in a Twitter client, Pidgin may or may not fulfill your needs, but for me it's great.

I never knew that Pidgin would do Twitter, I really am not too bright!

Now, now! Let's not hear any "I'm not too bright" nonsense. We can't all keep up with EVERYTHING, you know? I thought of Pidgin as just an IM client, and only after poking around a bit did I realize it could also do Twitter, and nicely, too.
