MS to put RedHat into Windows Azure

Selling a linux in a MS product! how lame can they get!

But, actually, I it might be that this will not augur well for them and will possibly benefit "Linux" because it will give people:

a) an opportunity to wonder ..."why?"
b) an opportunity to see a Linux.

Remember, Azure has the luxury of running as a fairly independent business unit. They're freer than the rest of Microsoft to seek revenue from, ah, alternate sources. And also remember that Azure is definitely looking to steal some business from Amazon Web Services. This move -- to allow Linux VMs in Azure -- will help accomplish both these goals.
