An Ubu "concept device" at CES

    http://www.extremetech.com/computing...-ces-this-year

In the article, Shuttleworth said "Unity is here to stay".

And one can see the advantage of the taskbar on the left from the image.

And, he said it will run "Armbuntu", based on the much derided of Linux ARM architecture.

ARM is "designed" for small devices but can easily run large devices, and ARM is more "energy efficient" so... the buzz some time ago was that ARM would soon be the architecture of choice in the near GREEN future.

Interesting but I would like to see what a Kubuntu version would be like. I know that probably isn't in the cards, but I think KDE would have been a better front end. IMHO!!

      "ShuttlePad" I love it!

Ubu TV will, apparently, also use the Unity desktop.

Maybe it could be a portable music player, a ... wait for it ...... a ShuttlePod!

It'd be OUT OF THIS WORLD!
