Re: Best Christmas present I ever got
Christmas 1983, IIRC. I get a touch of nostalgia this time of year.

Re: Best Christmas present I ever got
Very cool! I loved my Commodore 64 and REALLY wish I still had it, knowing what I know now (about computing) versus what I knew when I had it. My husband has never owned up to it, but I believe he tossed it out when we were preparing to move from one house to another. I know it was out in the garage at the old house--and had just been sitting there (in its original box) collecting dust--but, years later, when I got the urge to bring it in, it hadn't made its way to the new house.
I KNOW I didn't throw it out, and our daughter wouldn't have without asking, so that only leaves one suspect!

Ha, ha...he WISHES that could be the case. He knows and I know who tossed it out, it's just that he's never acknowledged it. >Originally posted by SnowhogYup. The Government guys in the black suites and dark glasses! 8) 8)Originally posted by DoYouKubuntu...so that only leaves one suspect!

We husbands have this incredible sense of self-preservation, especially when it comes to owning up to one of our many screw-ups.Originally posted by DoYouKubuntuHa, ha...he WISHES that could be the case.
