    I agree...if you read their statement between the lines. I'd have nothing to do with them, personally. Never do business with a company that you can not trust.

      Oh yeah, the change of heart is definitely only cosmetic. Not only did GoDaddy help write the legislation in the first place, but the legislation is written in such a way that they are exempt from it.1 (Even if not directly named as being exempt in the bill.)

      Additionally, there now seems to be some dirty play on GoDaddy's part to try to prevent people from switching to other solutions.2 No doubt, they are starting to feel the effects of the boycott.

      Sometimes a company is just too deeply involved in an injustice to make even a sincere apology worth anything. Sometimes the crimes against freedom that a business is willing to perpetrate are too egregious to be forgiven. An apology will never be enough, because they are the very evil that created this horrible bill in the first place. GoDaddy is in too deep for a mere apology to work. This boycott won't end because GoDaddy cried "Uncle!", and it shouldn't.
