    a 35 dollar tablet!

Surely............for this low price..... a "consortium" of a few "deep pockets" in Linuxdom and a hundred thousand "regular Linux users" who talk a lot about wanting a Linux dedicated computer to go mainstream .....

could pull off doing it now ...or it will never be done....

    a) the deep pockets peopel pony up maybe a hundred thousand together
    b) "WE" the people who keep SAYING they want to move Linux mainstream each pony up say.... 45 bucks...... if there are a hundred thousand people that do that then that is...woah... 45 x 100,000 = 4,500,000 clams

The deep pockets folks then go to the company and place the order and also then setup sales on amazon and e-bay and any friendly big box stores that want to try it...

Otherwise it will be Microsith and Android...

Here is your chance to get your favourite disto on a tablet...

And if your favourite distro does not have touch capability,......

The deep pockets could put a prize out of a donation to a charity for Linux developers to spend two weeks/months in concerted effort to get the thing done once and for all..

    just a thought...

    what say you?

    LOL
a certain forum member indicated to me that I didn't delineate what the Linux person gets for the 45 bucks...

well.......... A TABLET!!!! the excess money going into the programme to develop it...

or maybe 55 bucks and 45 for the tablet and 10 for the programme..

But the point being is that here is a golden window of opportunity to actually "have" a Linux tablet that is capable of being sold to the "masses"...
