    Linux Counter back online

And no, I don't mean an order counter at a coffee shop, or a counter tenor in some tragic Italian opera.

This week's DistroWatch Weekly features an interview with Alexander Mieland, who last month revived the long-dormant Linux counter (which I had never heard of until I saw the interview).

So head on over to Linuxcounter.net, register yourself and your computers, and be counted!

Yep, did that over 11 years ago.

How things have changed since then!

But it's good to publicize it for those who are unaware of it.

Why can't I get the logo to appear in my posts or in my signature?

If you have your downloaded counter number, just make a .png of it with gimp, and then use "img" tags to insert the .png into your signature.

I was trying to make a direct link to the image on linuxcounter, but I could not get it to work.

                    You use the
                    Code:
                    [img][/img]
tag and paste the url in between the two tags:
                    Code:
                    [img]https://linuxcounter.net/cert/446986.png[/img]
                    (mine shown above)

I tried that and it did not work. But I will try it again.

I just figured out what I was doing wrong. When I copied and pasted the URL I accidentally copied the period at the end of the sentence.
