A couple years ago I needed to have an install CD repaired (mechanically polished to remove scratches so it would boot again). At the WINDOWS computer store, which had a polishing machine, I noted that all the techies were running Linux. I asked them why they used Linux but didn't sell computers with Linux installed, or even Linux Install CDs. Their reply was "Our bread is buttered by removing viruses from infected Windows, or reinstalling drivers, applications or the OS itself. We'd starve if we sold Linux".
