Thanks. But when I click on the link in the email I get a message that says I can't access the site because I must be of a certain age. What's up with that? I'm pretty sure I'm old enough.
Funny that Google+ shows your full name when I enter your e-mail address, as if you are a known person.
I just found a different way to send and invitation -- I don't know whether it will produce a different result for you. Check your mail and try the second one.
OK, I got in by using another google account I have. Solved. If anyone else has this problem just set up a new gmail account with a different user name and it should work.
I've been wondering what the "+1" boxes next to my google searches were. They just recently started showing up. It is similar to the "like" button for FB. I just +1'd http://www.kubuntu.org/ and http://www.kubuntuforums.net/
