    My laptop cooler

Just received my Cryo LX notebook cooler today. This is one amazingly well crafted and built cooler. Three huge cooling fans that you can control the speed of. And, a four-port USB hub built in, and an AC to DC power cord so you don't have to power it from an available USB port.

If you are looking for a notebook cooler, you have to check this one out. I am very impressed!

    Hi...

Thank you, I bookmarked your link in case I or a future customer may be in the market for one, although the price is a bit steep. However, I would be willing to pay more for something that is going to last a few years and can take possibly being banged around a bit.

I am very impressed with this cooler. The HP Pavilion g7-1070us i3 64-bit laptop runs very warm in the lower-left corner below the keyboard (where the CPU is located I believe). I've seen comments on the 'Net from others about this - not that it's a flaw or problem with the laptop -- the i3 does run hot.

I'm running the cooler's fans at something a bit over 50% of their max speed, and Conky reports temps on the two real cores below 90 degrees. If I sit idle for a bit, the temps drop down into the 70's (and that's farenhite).

Cool (in both meanings of the word). 8)

While I don't use an electric fan powered cooler, I do use a sort of clam shell that keeps the rear of my laptop two to three inches off my table, allowing convection to work. I especially lise the cooler when I have my laptop on my lap, because clothing can blow ventilation ports and the cooler prevents that.
