Installed Natty on an Asus Laptop, found that 99% worked out of the box.
Including function keys (with a minor change to /etc/acpi/asus-touchpad.sh, since
the mouse pad was not detected correctly, had to replace the regex with the string
as reported by xinput -list, works fine now), and last but not least suspend and
hibernation modes.
The only exception is the internal microphone, a long term issue between Asus
and Linux. It simply is not detected. Well: I have nothing much to say anyway...
If this continues to be level of hardware support by Kubuntu over the next distro's
I just might completely uninstall Windows 7.
Kudos to all who helped to create this!
