Ha! Are you trying to say something, Vinny? :-) No need to be so low-key about it.
I like #1 and #2; didn't care so much for the hip-hop-rap in #3 and #4.
We had Bobby Vinton and his like. Then Elvis changed things and opened some Doors of Permission. Jimmy Hendrix opens more doors (like Doors of perception) and really blew things wide open. Otherwise these followers never could have followed. I like 'em all, pretty much. The Hippie music is good, but brings back some unpleasant tripping runs for me, so I watch what I play for flashback prevention. ;-)
Safer (on the brain cells): The romantic rock songs from 1950's-60's. Like Bobby Vinton.
And there you have music history in a nutshell. An intellectual says a simple thing in a hard way. An artist says a hard thing in a simple way. Charles Bukowski

My taste has evolved over the years (child of the 70's) and morphed slightly with each passing decade but I have never left any behind. I like Goth (Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim, The Cure), Industrial (Ministry, Cubanate), Psytrance (Tristan, Protoculture), Trancey (Orkidea, Solarstone) and as I mellow in middle age, Ambient (anything on the Radio Ultimae label). The thought of attending a festival or nightclub fills me with abject horror, though.

We saw Baby Metal last year (by accident). I can say I 100% don't get it.
We're totally into Post Malone right now.

baby metal is how I ended up discovering this, in YouTube.
There is an actually fairly decent number of all-female metal bands in japan, and they seem quite good, for the genre.
I am not much a fan of metal, but this band has more of a modern pop punk sound mixed in. Baby Metal is part of a purely pop/idol focused genre in japan, and quite manufactured. Band Maid and the others seem to be proper bands.
Here, the maid outfits are supposedly related to so-called 'maid cafes' Not quite sure if it classifies as a fetish, really, but of course, japan is quite an alien place

I've been reduced to listening to none.
My hearing in my left ear is almost gone, and my right is significantly reduced. Whereas I used to hear in the 200 Hz to 15KHz, now I can hear in the 1Khz to 4KHz range, and music, especially symphonic (my favorite), sounds terrible. Imagine trying to listen to Holst "The Planets" Mars-bringer of war, on a tin can string phone. "Where's the booming base?" you'd ask. I miss music.
