Right now, Gregory Porter is my fave:

Quite a lot of house music, too. I really like this tune by bonobo:
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WF34N4gJAKE

and, of course, I'll always be partial to a bit of Metallica / Pantera / ACDC / Opeth.

My local "alternative"/community radio station is pretty good for electronic music, people just play what they like: mostly house, drum & bass, reggae, etc (rarely rock).

The presenters are endearingly unprofessional, and they have a web player here: http://www.kanefm.com/

...you never quite know what you're going to get, which is quite fun.

Wow, currently I have too many artists to show, let alone albums. I would say my tastes in music is all over the place, from post-rock bands like Sigur Ros and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, to really just about anything. My favorite bands currently are: Swans, Devendra Banhart, Animal Collective, Talking Heads, and Radiohead. They may not be the most varied, but with me music is like throwing sponges at a wall and seeing what sticks.

I'm kinda late on this but.. Mostly pre 72 garage punk psychedelic MOD sike and ye ye girls. Iggy Stooge, also avante garde, weird, electronic, adventure, experimental, er.. pre 1972 lol. Of course i have lots more stuff, but it finishes around 1977. I do dig the Cramps and underground sounds from the late 70's too.. I prefer unknowns or rarely played tunes to popular ones.
