I saw this article and thought it may be of interest. It's just insidious how personal information mining gets more and more sophisticated.

Both Targus and Microsoft said they didn't know how the file got onto MSN.com, and added that the tool didn't contain "personally identifiable" information. ..." What a laugh!
I guess the message is : "Check out your Cookie settings".
