We seem to see a lot of problems on the topic of mounting external devices. Today, I happened upon this excellent piece of guidance for mounting SATA / E-SATA external drives:

Well, I beefed up #15 with that guide, so it's still 20 FAQs, with 2 "bonuses".

;-)

It is slightly amazing that those 20 topics seem to cover about 95% of the problems that people have. 8)
