Welcome. What version did you install? Tell us about the laptops - make/model and components. Any 'issues?'

dell mini 10v
Gateway P 7805u FX Edition
eeepc 1000
both netbooks have atom's of course, with 2gb of mem in eeepc and 1 in dell mini (haven't taken it apart to put in 2nd gig yet) both are pretty much basic hardware except the broadcom wireless in the dell mini was a slight PITA, but it only took a few button clicks. The dell has a hdd, and the eeepc is running on some slow ssd's. The gateway is core 2 duo with 4gb mem. 320gb hdd, and nvidia 9800gts 1gb. That one I installed the nvidia drivers.
So other than installing a few blobs I didn't have any real issues so far, most are self inflicted! What I mean there is the netbook screens and apps sometimes don't fit right, but I knew that one coming in The netbook edition does look cool, but for now I think i'm going to stick to the traditional desktop and figure it out
Nice. You've found a nice community resource here in KFN. Take some time and look around, use the Search feature. Take advantage of your friend Google.
There are plenty of members here who are willing and able (to varying degrees) to provide help and assistance.
