    Dibl's Desktop image he posted

    Dibl;

    Yeh, I did something like that a while back saying I was beta testing Win7 and what did they think of it. They were like "WOW, that's the way to do it!". When I finally told them what it actually was, they were like "Not funny man!". I had the icons and everything looking like Win7 based on screen-shots I saw. ROFL!!! Man it was funny.

    Is it possible to customize W7 to use a Kubuntu theme?

        That's a great idea, and it preserves the need to pay money to Microsoft and fight with software installation and drivers - brilliant!

        Seriously, in a world where there are even professionals out there who have difficulty with non-MS software, this could be a good bridge for someone.

          I'm getting ready to build a new computer for a buddy who is a die-hard, deep-in-their-pocket Windows user, so I'm planning a little gag when he comes over in a week or so. I already told him I have Windows 7 and I'm gonna show him what you can do with it.

            Do tell the outcome. I'm already ROFL. Change the KMenu to Lancelot and change the Start Logo to this.

              This might be a good Wallpaper to use as well.

                That is a sharp one - thanks Moon!

                I found a bunch of them last night with Google, but I don't think that one was in there.

                Thanks - downloading now.

                      Maybe, after it runs a few seconds you can have this screen pop up:

                          Hmmmmmmm ... that's actually a very intriguing idea, GG. A Windows BSOD as Linux wallpaper -- I like it! Maybe with toning down the blue-white contrast, so it didn't distract too much ....

                              Just set the wallpaper to rotate after 15~20 minutes and that pops up! Yes, the icons and panel are still there, but the initial shock of seeing the BSOD would over shadow that. ROFL!!
