Just thought I would let you know that a few days back I got the Karmi beta alternate CD (I'm happier than simply doing it over the net as at least I have a fallback position) and then used that as the update source. That was the smoothest upgrade I have ever experienced with everything that previously worked in Jaunty continuing to do so only faster

It's nice to be able to run FF 3.5 without having to faff about too. Seeing as the final version is not yet released loads of Kudos to the 'buntu team.

Ah! But the follow-up! The fully-fledged 9.10 Karmic Koala Kubuntu is now ready for download and so sweet it will make your teeth fall out cos it's bute' and really Kool - and that means it's the real deal, man! 8)
